Tomato Pastry Swirls with Indian Spices


1 Sheet of puff Pastry sheet, thawed

1 carton cherry Tomatoes

1 teaspoon garam masala

2 cloves garlic, thinly chopped

1 shallot, chopped finely

1 Tablespoon Balsamic vinegar

1 Tablespoon Olive oil

1/4 cup Parsley, chopped finely

1/4 cup grated Cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon Black pepper


Thaw the pastry on the counter once you remove it from the freezer. Cut into small circles and lay it on the tray. Preheat the oven at 375 degrees.

Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves, add garlic, shallot, garam masala, salt, black pepper, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Mix well and set aside.

Put 2 tomatoes and the salad mixture on each of the round. Add grated cheese. Bake the swirls in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Top it with parsley and serve.
