Fish Tacos with Crema
2 Fish fillets cut into 4 inch pieces
3 to 4 Garlic cloves, chopped finely
2 to 3 Tablespoons Lime juice
1 cup Cilantro leaves, chopped finely
1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped finely
1 teaspoon Cumin powder
1 teaspoon Salt
Cut the Fish fillets into chunks, marinate the fish with salt, garlic, half of cilantro leaves, jalapeno, cumin powder and lime juice. Marinate the fish for 10 to 15 minutes.
Grill the fish on an indoor grill or a frying pan. Cook the fish until done and a light brown color appears on both sides.
Assembly of the Fish Tacos
Take store bought good quality corn or wheat tortillas. Place tortillas on a cutting board. Add 1 teaspoon store bought crema or cream fraiche on the taco. Add cooked fish. If the fish is too big cut it further into bite sized pieces. Add cilantro leaves, salsa or guacamole and enjoy.
Corn tortillas, Crème fraiche and Salsa and guacamole can be store bought.
