Avocado Toast


2 ripe Avocados

1 green Jalapeno or Serrano chili

1/2 cup Cilantro leaves, washed and chopped

2 to 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder

1/4 cup Onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup Tomato chopped finely

3 Tablespoons of Lime juice

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper

1/2 teaspoon Salt

Chop the avocados and add the pulp into a bowl. Add one avocado pith also to the bowl. Add chili, onion, garlic, cumin powder, salt, cilantro leaves.

Mash all this with a masher. Add lime juice and chopped tomatoes.

Serve it on top of a grilled toast.

Please note: The avocado pith in the salsa manages to keep the green color and prevents discoloration.
