Mediterranean region. Poppy seeds may boost heart and skin health.
Poppy seeds also help with digestion, cures headaches, and helps in
coughs. Antioxidants in these seeds protect the body from cellular
damage. Poppy seeds tea can cure insomnia. Poppy seeds are rich in
manganese. In Indian Cuisine poppy seeds are used in a few vegetable
and meat dishes.
It should be stored in a dark place. The shelf life is 6 months.
