Millet is versatile and can be used in place of rice. 1 cup of Millet and 2 cups of water cook for 20 to 22 minutes at a low temperature. Millet grains are used in breakfast like a porridge or millet flour can be used to make breads, cake, muffins and cookies. In Indian cuisine it can be used to making breads and pancakes. It can be stored in the pantry in an airtight container for 6 months or more.
