2 Pounds Boneless chicken thigh meat preferable 1/4 cup oil 2 large onions, peeled and chopped finely 2 teaspoon ginger, peeled and finely chopped 2 teaspoon garlic, peeled and finely chopped 2 cups plain Greek yogurt 1 cup of almond slivers 1 tablespoon Milk to soak the saffron threads pinch of saffron 4 cloves 1 bay leaf 3 cardamom pods, bruise and crush the seeds 1 teaspoon serrano chile, deseeded and chopped finely 1 teaspoon salt Note: if you do not have saffron, please substitute 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika or turmeric.
