Come join us and learn to make ubiquitous samosas for any occasion. The class will offer 2 different types of Samosas, chicken, and vegetable. Samosas can be served with hot tea, chai latte, or a chilled glass of white wine. Samosas are a perfect way to start any party. Puff Pastry: 1 egg beaten 1 tablespoon 1 or 2 % milk 1 sheet puff pastry Chicken Samosas Filling: 2 tablespoon canola oil 1 large onion, chopped finely 1 inch ginger, peeled and chopped finely 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1 teaspoon salt 1 pound skinless boneless chicken, breasts or thighs cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1 cup of green peas 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped finely Vegetable Samosa filling: 2 tablespoon canola oil 1 large onion, chopped finely 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely 1 inch ginger, peeled and chopped finely 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 tablespoon tomato paste 2 potatoes, boiled, peeled and diced 1 cup of green peas ¼ cup of cilantro leaves, chopped finely 1 teaspoon salt
