Cinnamon can be stored in a dark cool place for 2 years. Cinnamon has many health benefits. It boosts your metabolism, it has anti-inflammatory properties, it can help control your blood sugar and cholesterol. It also helps with menstrual pain and disorders. In USA we find cinnamon in powdered form which can be sprinkled on your coffee, tea, or oatmeal. Cinnamon is mostly used in Indian curries. Chai masala in India uses cinnamon. It is used also in Indian desserts. It imparts a warm soothing taste to the curries. Cinnamon is truly a wonder spice.
